This was my campsite for 7 nights in Interlaken, Camping Hobby, of which I had actually stayed here before on a trip to Switzerland in the early 2000's - I have a similar picture from back then on this website somewhere!

There's my pitch at Camping Hobby and my trusty MSR Elixir tent which has seen me through many cycling touring trips and survived storms!

This is the view I woke up to every morning whilst camping - not bad eh???

Nothing but mountains and blue skies! the whole area where Camping Hobby is situated puts you centre in all these mountains much like Switzerland itself - jaw dropping beauty!

The campsite is also not far from a field where paraglider's land - you could sit here all day watching them glide down from the top of the mountains...

Photos from my 11 day trip to Switzerland in the Autumn of 2021.

The majority of my stay in Switzerland was in Interlaken and this was my base for the first seven days of which I spent camping at Camping Hobby and used my Swiss Travel Pass to visit each day different places around Switzerland using the excellent train service they run, the last three days I stayed in Lausanne and a cheap hotel (cheapest I could find for Switzerland prices!).

This is my second time I have visited Interlaken, once in early 2000s and its as beautiful now as it was then! – enjoy the photos! 🙂
