I’ve passed this beautiful Art Deco building on my travels around London for a number of years now and after paying it a more closer inspection one time I discovered it was a Freemason’s Lodge – in fact it’s there most important building in England, The United Grand Lodge of England. I naturally thought being the kind of secret society the Freemason’s are known for, I would never be able to step foot into the building to see the interior – even for a photo snap! It’s only recently and by accident, I found out after watching a documentary on the Freemasons that there is a Museum of Freemasonry open to the public within this opulent building! I was up in the big smoke one day and just caught a quick 15 mins walk around before closing time (the South Gallery was closed for renovations) and here is what I saw…
